Annapolis Transformation

The owner, a builder by trade, entrusted us to transform his personal Annapolis home and the before and after is dramatic. A series of strategic, large additions to the once modest one-story appears more like a new build, but one that looks as if it’s been there all along. The existing 1,654 square foot structure was entirely reimagined to add a second floor, an expansive basement, and a central circulation hall nearly doubling the home to 3,248 square feet. The kitchen and family room were reworked for better flow within the space and out to the tranquil backyard. At the street, a new front porch added an inviting elevation and the existing garage was revamped into a charming, complimentary designed guest house. Extensive coordination with the City of Annapolis ensured the design aesthetic suited this beautiful historic district neighborhood.
